Biography of Larome Armstrong







Larome started the Dallas Black Film Festival in 2003 in which he noted the need for representation of Black Film in the Southwest area and to highlight the works of Independent Black Filmmakers or Black Films with positive themes and cinematic messages.

To create a venue for Filmmakers to network with distributors, and showcase their works, and display their product to the general public or those who have an appreciation for film.

Larome credits includes: (Plays) "Black London", "Los Africanos", "A Sorta Xmas Story", "The Final Solution", "Bebop Swinging".
